Winter Wonderland

Twas the wedding before Christmas, when all through the castle
Everyone was so excited, hanging each wedding tassel;
Ornaments were hung on the tree with care,
In hopes that the Lazaro bride would soon be there;

The cakes and cookies were laid out with presents,
While guests arrived one by one enjoying the pre wedding events;
The bride wearing her crown, and her mother in her keepsake gown,
They were all settling down as the bride slipped on the new hand muff in brown.

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,
her love was coming up to the gates with matrimonial chatter.
Away from the window the bride flew like a flash,
Preparing her bridesmaids with a special gifted sash.
